She is profiled in Who is Who in Nigeria (2006-date). She is the recipient of the National Peace Award (2010).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">She has been lecturing at Lagos State University for two decades. She was the Head of the Department of Political Science, the first Director of the Centre for Refugee and Conflict Studies and a Member of the University Senate. She is also Director, External Conflict Prevention and Resolution, Institute for Peace, and Conflict Resolution. She is currently an Independent Consultant and Conflict Transformation Expert, based in Abuja.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Her major objective is to use alternative methods to transform conflicts in Africa.
