{"id":2474,"date":"2023-03-20T05:27:52","date_gmt":"2023-03-20T04:27:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/reportwomen.org\/experts\/?post_type=rwexperts&#038;p=2474"},"modified":"2024-10-01T18:20:57","modified_gmt":"2024-10-01T17:20:57","slug":"meet-temilola-george","status":"publish","type":"rwexperts","link":"https:\/\/reportwomen.org\/experts\/rwexperts\/meet-temilola-george\/","title":{"rendered":"Temilola George"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Career &amp; Expertise<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">George is the Head of Department, Conflict, Peacekeeping &amp; Humanitarian Studies at the National Defence College, Abuja, where she is also a Research Fellow.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Her main responsibility is to conduct research in the clusters of the department, which are conflict, peace and humanitarian issues.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In addition, she participates in the organisation and implementation of short courses and training run by her department and the Centre in conjunction with ECOWAS and other partners.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">She is a rapporteur programme, meetings and conferences run in the college, in addition to performing administrative tasks. She has represented the College in several local and international conferences, workshops and seminars.
