{"id":1978,"date":"2023-03-10T10:04:43","date_gmt":"2023-03-10T09:04:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/reportwomen.org\/experts\/?post_type=rwexperts&#038;p=1978"},"modified":"2023-12-19T13:19:09","modified_gmt":"2023-12-19T12:19:09","slug":"meet-rosemary-ogochukwu-igbo","status":"publish","type":"rwexperts","link":"https:\/\/reportwomen.org\/experts\/rwexperts\/meet-rosemary-ogochukwu-igbo\/","title":{"rendered":"Rosemary Ogochukwu Igbo"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Career &amp; Expertise<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Igbo is a Professor of Adult and Non-formal Education at the Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu-Alike Ebonyi State Nigeria.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">She earned a Bachelors degree in Foundations of Education and an MEd degree\u00a0in Educational Administration and Supervision from the University of Nigeria,\u00a0Nsukka.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">She also obtained Masters and doctorate degrees in Adult and Non-formal Education from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, and a Nigerian Certificate of Education (NCE) in Home Economics (Vocational Education) from the Federal College of Education, Katsina; an affiliate of Bayero University, Kano Nigeria.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">She is a member of the African Council for Distance\u00a0Education. Igbo has authorship of nine educational texts. In 26 years of university teaching and 10 years of the basic\/secondary levels, she has provided quality academic leadership and participated in research of high impact.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Skills Utilisation<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Some of her research works focus on development issues that include non-formal education, gender concerns and literacy efforts.
