{"id":1510,"date":"2022-11-15T14:20:48","date_gmt":"2022-11-15T13:20:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/experts.9jahost.net\/?post_type=rwexperts&#038;p=1510"},"modified":"2023-12-19T15:26:31","modified_gmt":"2023-12-19T14:26:31","slug":"meet-boma-goodhead","status":"publish","type":"rwexperts","link":"https:\/\/reportwomen.org\/experts\/rwexperts\/meet-boma-goodhead\/","title":{"rendered":"Boma Goodhead"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Education &amp; Certifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Boma Goodhead, 47, is a graduate of the University of Port Harcourt in Rivers State and currently represents Asalga\/Akulga Federal Constituency of Rivers State in the ninth assembly.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Career &amp; Expertise<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>She began her political journey when she briefly worked with former Governor of Delta State, James Ibori, as a junior assistant and later moved to the Federal Capital Territory where she vied for a chairmanship position in Abuja Municipal Area Council on the platform of the All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP) in 2007.<\/p>\n<p>Boma later decamped to the defunct Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), to contest for the House of Representatives seat for AMAC\/Bwari Federal Constituency of the FCT in 2011, which she also lost at the primaries.<\/p>\n<p>She vied to represent her constituency in the State House of Assembly on three occasions, but lost until 2015 when she won a seat in the House of Representatives on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
