Dr. Oluwakemi Olurinola is an education technology researcher and consultant, with special interest in the application of modern science and technology in the field of education. She is a global educator with extensive experience in digital pedagogies and a passion for teachers’ empowerment.
She attended Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, between 1993 and 1999, where she obtained a bachelor of science degree in Industrial Design; and her master of arts degree in Visual Arts between 2002 and 2004; Post-Graduate Diploma in Education between 2007 and 2008; and PhD in Educational/Instructional Technology, University of Ibadan, between 2009 and 2014.
She is the Lead Consultant at Exquitec Education Technology, an EdTech Consultancy that is a Microsoft Global Training Partner, providing training, support and consultancy on Microsoft tools for education and partners with UNESCO to scale the digital teacher certification course in Africa.
Olurinola led the team to win the Microsoft Global Training Partner EMEA award 2020 for their contribution towards the education sector in Nigeria and beyond.
Dr. Oluwakemi Olurinola is a highly effective educator with extensive experience with schools and pupils from different backgrounds.
She has been teaching Education Technology at Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU), Ago-Iwoye, since May 2015.
