Josephine Okojie earned a B.Sc. in Economics and Statistics from the University of Benin. Okojie is a seasoned journalist with exceptional writing and editing abilities who is passionate about agriculture.

She is also a 2019 Fellow of the World Conference of Science Journalists (WCSJ); a 2018 Fellow of Thomson Reuters Foundation/IFAD Reporting Programme; a 2018 Fellow of Falling Walls Science Reporting Programme; and a 2017 Fellow of Bloomberg Media Initiative for Africa.

Josephine is currently the President of the Food and Agricultural Writers Organisation of Nigeria (FAWON)

She is also the Secretary-General of the Pangolin Conservation Working Group of Nigeria (PCWGN), an organisation that is at the forefront of pangolin conservation in Nigeria.

Josephine is a journalist and a conservationist. She travels to communities with other conservationists to educate people about endangered wildlife species and the ecosystem.
