Career & Expertise

Ajibade works in the Faculty of Education, Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife. She holds a PhD from the University of Ibadan. She was several times Head of the Department of Curriculum, Arts and Social Science Education and was the First female Provost of the Postgraduate College from 2019 – 2021. She is the Initiator and Founding President of the International Association of Language Educators.

Her current research is on domesticating pedagogy and language in education at different levels.

Skills Utilisation

With her experience and speciality, Ajibade will be a good source for Curriculum review and development, teaching and training. She can also be a good source to speak on the feared extinction of ‘mother tongue’ in Nigeria.
