Tope Omage is an experienced director with a proven track record of working in the banking industry. She specialises in budgeting, enterprise risk management, business planning, operations management, and analytical skills. She enjoyed a remarkable and long career in the Central Bank of Nigeria, where she retired as Director of Finance after 35 years. From 2012 until 2014, she served as director of branch operations, overseeing the Central Bank’s 37 offices nationwide. She has gained experience in finance, auditing, and compliance, among other areas, and was the first female to be appointed Director of Finance at the Central Bank of Nigeria.

In 2021, she was appointed to First Bank of Nigeria Limited’s Board of Directors as a non-executive member. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, a member of the distinguished Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, and a certified mediator. She has worked on several committees of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), was an ex officio member of ICAN and the District Society Abuja, and is presently a member of the entrepreneurship initiative.

Omage is also a fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Management, a member of the Institute of Directors, and a Chartered Institute of Taxation in Nigeria.
She has an MBA with a concentration in business administration from Edo State University, an HND in accounting from Auchi Polytechnic, and she has taken several classes, seminars, conferences, and workshops at prestigious universities like Stanford, Wharton, and North Western University in Nigeria, the UK, and the US.
