Olagunju worked with AIT for 13 years. She has also worked with NTA. She has been described by many as hardworking and committed to her job. She has won the Television Newscaster of the Year Award eight times. 

After spending over two decades as a broadcaster, working at the Broadcasting Corporation of Oyo State (BCOS), Ogun State Broadcasting Corporation (OGBC), African Independent Television (AIT), and Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), she moved to the Bank of Industry (BOI) as a corporate communications officer. She has worked in the banking and broadcast sectors
