Saratu obtained her B.Ed from Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, Nigeria.

She was the 20th President of the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA) and the second female president.

According to Wikipedia, Saratu is a Nigerian business director and the Managing Director of Sarat Group of Companies.  She lectured at Kaduna State Polytechnic and ABU.

She was also the president of the Police Officers’ Wives Association, Yola chapter, and Kaduna chapter. She was also the vice-president of the Retired Armed Forces and Police Officers Association, Treasurer of the Forum for African Women Educationists, and a life member of the Planned Parenthood Federation of Nigeria.

Her knowledge as a private sector investor and understanding of the Nigerian business and investment environment, as well as her experience as a former president of Nigeria’s frontline industrialist body, make her a delight for researchers, journalists, and academics.
