Career & Expertise

Mbah holds a PhD from the University of Benin, which she obtained in 2003. 

She is a Professor of Home Economics, College of Applied Food Sciences and Tourism, Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike. 

She headed the Department of Home Economics from 2014 – 2017 and was Chairman of the University Examination Timetable Committee between 2014 and 2016.

She is Vice President and Fellow, Africa Region, International Federation of Home Economics (IFHE), as well as President and Fellow, Home Economics Professional Association of Nigeria (HEPAN).
