Olufunke Olorundare is a professor of Pharmacology at the University of Ilorin’s College of Health Sciences’ Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences, where she served as the department’s head on several occasions up until 2014.

Her current research focuses on blood platelet physiology, function, and interactions as well as the isolation, characterization, and elucidation of the mechanisms of action of phytochemicals with anti-cancer potentials. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1988.
