Prof. Karim, a Professor of Food Science and Technology in the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Ilorin, obtained a PhD from the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, in 2005.

Career & Expertise

She was Head of Department, Home Economics and Food Science, between 2009 and 2015, and has been the Chairman of Unilorin Guest Houses since 2017 till date.

Her current research effort is on plant food processing (using traditional methods) and value addition for national food and nutrition security.

She is a Member of the Nigerian Institute of Food Science and Technology.
