Olorunsanya, a Professor of Agricultural Economics in the Faculty of Agriculture, Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University (IBB University), Lapai, Niger State, holds a PhD from the University of Ilorin, which she obtained in 2009. 

She headed the Department of Agricultural Economics and Extension Services, IBB University, between 2011 and 2016. Her current research efforts are on Value Chain of Agricultural Commodities.

She is a member of the Agricultural Society of Nigeria.
