She is a Professor of Agricultural Economics (Production Economics and Farm Management) in the School of Agriculture and Agricultural Technology, Modibbo Adama University of Technology, Yola. She has been the Head of Department from 2015 till date.  

Currently she is carrying out a research on Fisheries Economics.
