Career & Expertise

Onwubuya obtained a PhD from Enugu State University of Science and Technology in 1996.

She is a Professor of Agricultural Extension in the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Nigeria, Nsukka.

She was Acting Head of Department from 2009 – 2011 and is currently a substantive Head of Department since 2017. She is a Fellow of the Agricultural Extension of Nigeria. She is currently researching extension education, evaluation and rural development.
