Darlene Bassey holds the prestigious position of Professor of Radiology within the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry at the University of Calabar, located in Cross River State. She obtained a Fellowship from the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria in 1991.
Throughout her distinguished career, Bassey has undertaken key roles, including serving as the Coordinator of the Department of Radiography from 1986 to 1996 and as the Head of the Department of Radiology from 1992 to 2000 and again from 2004 to 2008.
