Chimdi Chuka-Okosa holds the esteemed position of Professor of Ophthalmology within the Faculty of Medical Sciences at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka/Ituku Ozalla campus. She earned a fellowship from the West African College of Surgeons in 1993 following her residency training at the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital, Enugu.
