Prof. Afolami obtained a PhD from the University of Ibadan in 1997.

Career & Expertise

She is a Professor of Agricultural Economics in the College of Agricultural Management and Rural Development, Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta. 

She is a Programme Leader, Agricultural Economics and Environmental Policy, Centre of Excellence in Agricultural Development and Sustainable Environment. She is currently researching on technology adoption, poverty alleviation and farmers’ welfare.

Prof. Afolami is a Fellow of Nigerian Association of Agricultural Economists (NAAE).
