With extensive study on the effects of cannabis sativa and thermo-oxidized palm oil on gastrointestinal function and other systems (Reproductive and Endocrine), Professor Agona Odeh Obembe possesses a Ph.D. in gastrointestinal physiology from 2006.
She also has a Master’s in Renal Physiology from 1995 and a Bachelor’s in General Physiology (1990).
Obembe served as the department’s head from 2010 to 2012 and as the faculty’s sub-dean (2008 – 2010).
