Endocrinologist and diabetologist, Dr. Afokoghene Rita Isiavwe has over 26 years of experience in the medical industry. She was educated at the University of Cape Town in South Africa and the University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH) in Nigeria.

Career & Expertise

She is a founding partner of the multi-specialty private hospital and referral center for diabetes and endocrinology known as Rainbow Specialist Medical Centre Lagos. The inaugural Podiatry and Diabetes Foot Care Conference in Nigeria was organized by Dr. Isiavwe, who is also credited with providing diabetes foot care education to Nigerian healthcare professionals.

In addition to being a faculty member at the Diabetes Africa Footcare, she founded Diabetes Foot Nigeria.
Dr. Isiavwe has held a variety of positions in prestigious medical facilities, including Visiting Diabetes & Endocrine Care.
