Chinwe Claire Nwaebili studied Accounting at the Delta state University Abraka and became a member of Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN).

Career & Expertise

While in school, she was the organising secretary of the Student Union Government of the school and later became the Personal Assistant to Olisa Imegwu, who later became Speaker of Delta State House of Assembly.

It was while working for Imegwu that she learnt the ropes about how to be a legislator. She was afterwards appointed Supervisory councilor of her local council.

In 2007, she won an election into the Anambra State House of Assembly to represent Ogbaru Constituency 11. She became Chairman House committee on election matters and was also Deputy Chairman to other committees while a member in over nine committees. It was in her second tenure that they elected her Speaker of the House. She later served as Commissioner for Environment and later that of Transport.
