Adagbayi studied Law and Economics at Kaplan Holborn University; University of South Wales (Bachelor of Laws); The Polytechnic of Wales; Nigerian Law School, and the University of Bristol for a Master of Laws.

She has over 25 years of work experience in research, law, and insurance. She understands the demands and needs of clients in structuring insurance/alternative risk financing solutions to address special/peculiar needs.

A former non-executive director of Prestige Assurance Plc (a subsidiary of New India Assurance Company Limited, Mumbai), she also acted as Chairperson of the Finance and Investment Committee. She currently sits on the Board of Leadway Hotels Limited and Leadway Vie, Abidjan.
