Habiba Balogun obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in French and Italian from the University of London. She holds a Master’s degree in Organisation Management from The George Washington University in Washington DC. In 2017, she completed the Strategic Leadership in Inclusive Finance programme at Harvard Business School Executive Education.
Career & Expertise
Habiba Balogun is the founder of Habiba Balogun Consulting, a consultancy firm specialising in organisation effectiveness and human resources in Nigeria. Before establishing her firm in 2007, she held various positions across multiple sectors, including banking, manufacturing, import-export, education, and oil and gas.
She has served on the boards of several organisations, such as Accion Microfinance Bank, Lagos Preparatory and Secondary School, Fate Foundation, and the Women In Successful Careers (WISCAR) Mentoring Programme.
She was the inaugural corporate affairs manager at Credit Lyonnais Nigeria and worked as the Regional HR Change and Strategy Adviser for Shell E&P Africa.
