Enase Okonedo is a professor of management with a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) from the International School of Management (ISM) in Paris. She also earned her MBA from IESE Business School in Barcelona and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Benin.
Career & Expertise
Enase Okonedo is the Vice-Chancellor of Pan-Atlantic University, Lagos, Nigeria. Prior to this role, she served as Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Dean of Lagos Business School (LBS), where she joined in 1995 following her career in the banking and financial services sector. During her tenure as Dean, LBS earned international accreditations from top global bodies and was consistently ranked by the Financial Times of London as a leading provider of Executive Education for over 13 years. Notably, LBS was recognised as Africa’s best Custom Executive Education provider in 2020.
Okonedo serves on several prestigious boards in the management education sector, including the Global Business School Network (GBSN), the United Nations Principles for Responsible Management Education (UNPRME), and the Academic Advisory Board of the Blavatnik School of Government at the University of Oxford. She has also served on the board of the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) and held leadership roles with AACSB International, including as Secretary-Treasurer and Chairperson of the Association of African Business Schools.
A fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), the Institute of Directors (IOD), the Society for Corporate Governance Nigeria (SCGN), and the International Academy of Management (IAM), Okonedo has made significant contributions to management education and corporate governance.
