Bode-George is a seasoned entrepreneur, an accomplished public administrator, and a skilled law enforcement executive. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Geography and Regional Planning from the University of Benin. She also holds a Doctor of Business Administration and an MBA from the University of Liverpool.

Her career highlights include serving as a Director on the Board of the Federal Housing Authority (FHA) in Nigeria starting in 2005. In 2012, she assumed the role of Federal Commissioner, representing Lagos State, at the Nigerian Population Commission.

In a historic move in 2014, Bode-George became the first woman to be appointed as the Director-General of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency.
