Angela Emuwa is a prominent Nigerian media executive and journalist with extensive experience in the media industry. Appointed as the Chairman of Punch Media Foundation in June 2018, she has been an influential figure in Nigerian journalism since joining the board in 1994 as a non-executive director.

Emuwa’s career spans several significant roles in the media sector. From 1986 to 1995, she worked at Newswatch Communications Limited. She served as the Advertising Sales Director at Africa Today from 1995 to 1999 and later took on the role of Head of Operations at News Africa from 2000 to 2003.

In addition to her media career, Angela Emuwa is a passionate advocate for children living with disabilities. She is the President of the Autism Parents Association International (APAI), formerly known as the Parents Against Autism Initiative (PAAI), and actively supports NGOs that cater to parents of autistic children and individuals with special needs.
