Suzanne Iroche holds a Master of Management degree from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, where she specialised in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, and Management Policy. She also earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Lagos, Nigeria.
Career & Expertise
Suzanne Iroche is a seasoned banker with over 35 years of broad-based experience in the financial services sector. Her career highlights include pioneering the Treasury Division at Chartered Bank PLC, where she served as the bank’s first Treasurer. She went on to hold the position of Executive Director of Wealth Management at United Bank for Africa (UBA), where she was responsible for Treasury, Correspondent Banking/Multilateral Agency business, and UBA subsidiaries in Asset Management, Trustees, and Pension Custody.
In 2009, Suzanne was appointed Managing Director and CEO of FinBank Plc by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) as part of its banking reform programme.
Currently, Suzanne serves as an Independent Director on the boards of several notable companies, including Coronation Merchant Bank Ltd, Travelex Nigeria Business Solutions Ltd (a subsidiary of the UK-based Travelex Group), Union Bank United Kingdom (UK), and UAC of Nigeria Plc. She is also a member of the University of Lagos Advancement Board and the advisory board of Women in Successful Careers (WISCAR).
