Adaobi is a dedicated human rights advocate with over 11 years of experience in advancing access to justice, the rule of law, and good governance. Additionally, she possesses over seven years of expertise in NGO management and project coordination. Currently, she holds the overarching responsibility for managing the Africa Programmes at the Cyrus R. Vance Centre for International Justice, based in New York.

This non-profit organization promotes global justice by fostering collaboration among lawyers worldwide to support civil society and uphold ethical standards within the legal profession.

Previously, Adaobi served with the Legal Defence and Assistance Project (LEDAP), a prominent Nigerian human rights NGO, where she ascended to the role of Executive Programmes Director. She is committed to promoting the comprehensive implementation of laws related to justice sector reform and the prevention of Sexual and gender-based violence.
