Clark serves as the lead facilitator at LASEM, Nigeria’s pioneering consultancy specializing in English and Mathematics. Renowned for conducting workshops on English language and communication skills, LASEM’s workshops are highly esteemed throughout Nigeria and the broader West African region.

Her academic career began as a pioneer staff member of the School of Drama at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, in 1963. By 1965, she was appointed lecturer in the Department of English at the University of Lagos. Over the years, she ascended to the positions of Director of the Centre for Cultural Studies and Professor of English at the University, achieving these milestones in 1983 and 1985, respectively.

Clark’s expertise extends beyond academia. She has conducted communication skills sessions for many international organizations across Nigeria, West Africa, and East Africa. She served as a judge for the 2001 Commonwealth Writers Prize for the African region and acted as an assessor for the Nigerian National Order of Merit (NNOM) from 1984 to 1991.
