Akomolafe, a lecturer in the Faculty of Education at Ekiti State University, Ado Ekiti, earned her Ph.D. from the same institution in 2002.

She held the position of Head of the Department of Educational Management from 2009 to 2010 and served as Assistant Director of Sandwich programs from 2010 to 2012. She acted as the chairperson of the Ceremonies Committee of the University from 2016 to 2020. She is also an associate member of the Nigerian Institute of Management. Currently, her research focuses on accredited universities and quality assurance.

Akomolafe’s expertise in various administrative roles, including as head of the department and head of several committees, makes her a valuable resource for issues related to administration, policy implementation, and general education matters.
