Toyin Olawoye boasts extensive expertise as a seasoned finance professional, accumulating over 30 years of experience in finance, commercial management, treasury management, and business development. Holding a B.Sc from the University of Ibadan, an MBA from Columbia University, New York, and a Certificate in FinTech from the University of Oxford, UK, Toyin has continuously expanded her knowledge and skills in the financial domain.
Throughout her career, Toyin has held various senior management roles, notably during her 17-year tenure at Shell Nigeria, UK, Netherlands, and the US. During this time, she excelled in originating transactions, capital raising, finance structuring, advisory services, and mergers & acquisitions. She later transitioned to Citibank, where she spent a decade contributing her expertise in corporate and commercial banking, risk analysis and management, relationship management, and credit product development and marketing.
In addition to her corporate roles, Toyin actively engages in board-level responsibilities for several organizations. She co-founded Multistream Energy Ltd in 2011, offering financial advisory and consultancy services, and serves as Chairperson at Construction Kaiser Limited, an indigenous construction company in Nigeria. Furthermore, Toyin is a trustee and founding working committee member of Women in Management Business and Public Service (WIMBIZ), demonstrating her commitment to empowering women in leadership roles.
