Ronke is a serial entrepreneur and multi-sectoral expert with over 30 years of experience in food and beverage manufacturing, human resource development, agriculture and agribusiness, and energy (oil, gas, and power) in the private, not-for-profit, and public sectors.
For 11 years, she served as BNP Paribas’ national director and in-country representative in Nigeria, overseeing the company’s formal entry into corporate and investment banking, asset management, and private banking services. She also worked as a consultant for Natixis, a French financial organisation in Nigeria’s oil and gas business.
Ronke has worked as a consultant with FOSTER (Facility for Oil Sector Transparency and Accountability), a DFID initiative, for the past five years.
She serves on the boards of many publicly traded and unquoted firms. She is currently a member of the Ogun State Government Executive Council, the WIMBIZ Executive Council, and the Vivian Fowler Memorial College. Ronke is also a non-executive director of Tomato Jos, an African agricultural production firm based in northern Nigeria. She is currently a member of the Institute of Directors Nigeria, the Energy Institute UK, the Institute of Food Technologists, and an advocate for women, youths, and entrepreneurs.
She received a bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Technology from the University of Rhode Island, an MBA in Entrepreneurship from Durham University, and an MBA in Dissertation, Business Incubator to promote Entrepreneurship from the China Europe International Business School (CEIBS).
