She is a Certified Human Resources Professional from the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development in the United Kingdom, a certified Etiquette Practitioner from Minding Manners UK, a certified Self Development Coach from the Coaches Federation in Canada, a certified Mediator, a Faculty Member at the School of Eloquence, and a Partner at the law firm Seyi Sowemimo & Co.

In 2019, she attended the Lagos Business School for an executive course, the Agribusiness Management Programme, as well as a certificate course on Post-Harvest Loss.

She is an expert in organic farming and Ope Farms was certified by the Association of Organic Practitioners of Nigeria in 2016.

She has presented papers at the World Organic Conference in France, the African Organic Conference in Saly, Senegal, and the West African Organic Conference in Ghana.

Sowemimo is a Fellow of the Institute of Agribusiness Management of Nigeria (IAMN), as well as a member of Enterprising Women, the Poultry Association of Nigeria (PAN), SMEDAN, and the Beekeepers’ Association, among other organisations.
