Kanu has a PGD in Management and HND in Business Administration from the Lagos State Polytechnic, having graduated from the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology in 2012, and the Lagos State Polytechnic in 2006.

Career & Expertise

She started her journalism in print media and moved into broadcast journalism where she is currently a Senior Correspondent with TVCNEWS.

Kanu had travelled to war-torn Somalia to cover peace-keeping missions and conflict.

She has a security show titled, Crime Watch, which she produced for seven years on TVC. She is passionate about issues relating to security, women, and children.

Ivuoma has won multiple awards and is a member of the Crime Reporters Association of Nigeria. She was the Security Watch Africa Best Security Investigative Reporter (Electronic) in 2017 and 2018.
