Career & Expertise

Bimbo Oloyede is a seasoned broadcaster, trainer, news anchor, woman rights activist, public speaking coach and moderator at development and national programmes and events, who, over the years, has represented the country in the UK, Europe, and the Americas.

Oloyede has been a broadcast professional for nearly five decades, dedicating about 25 of those years to training broadcasters, executives, diplomats, teachers and corporate clients in the areas of speech, presentation, public speaking and effective communication.

She is also an author, speaker and mentor.

Oloyede was a pioneer newscaster with NTA Network News from 1976 to 1980.
She left NTA in 1980 to co-found a Radio/TV production company with her husband and founded and co-ordinated the Women’s Optimum Development Foundation (WODEF) from 1999 – 2015. From 2002, Oloyede was also a consultant News Anchor and trainer at Channels TV. Since 2016, she has been Lead Instructor at Strictly Speaking Academy, passionately promoting good speech, effective communication and eloquent self-expression. She is equally concerned about issues affecting women and girls.
