Meludu is a Professor of Agricultural Extension and Rural Development with a bias in Food and Nutrition Security in Faculty of Agriculture, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka.

She holds a PhD from the University of Ibadan. She is currently researching on food and nutrition security/hospitality and tourism development.
