Education & Certifications

Prof. Jane Ani holds a PhD from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, which she obtained in 1991. She is a Professor of Food Chemistry in the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Nigeria, Nsukka.

Career & Expertise

She became the Head of Department of Food Science and Technology in UNN in 2008, a position she held till 2011. She was also Dean, College of Food Science and Technology from 2007-2008 in the University of Mkar, Mkar, Benue State. She is currently conducting a research on development of food products for diabetics.

She is a Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Food Science and Technology.
