Career & Expertise

Tiamiyu studied at Ogun State University (now Olabisi Onabanjo University), Ago-Iwoye, where she bagged a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics. She holds double Master’s degrees in Actuarial Science and Risk Management and Insurance from the University of Ibadan and the University of Lagos, respectively. Inducted as an associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN) in 2005, she became a fellow of the institute in 2014.

A member of the Professional Insurance Ladies Association and a faculty member at the College of Insurance, Asese, Ogun State and a certified International Labour Organisation micro-insurance trainer.

Tiamiyu has acquired underwriting experience in life/pensions and general business insurances, as well as administrative capacity obtained mainly from the frontline insurance institute she currently oversees.
