Career & Expertise

Mbakwem is a lecturer in the Faculty of Education, Imo State University, Owerri. She has a doctorate degree from Abia State University, Uturu in 2001. She was the former Head, the Department of Curriculum Studies and Educational Technology from 2013 to 2014 and the Department of Social Science Education.  She has been a member of the Imo State University Senate since 2010. She is a Fellow of the Curriculum Organisation of Nigeria and a member of the Nigerian Academy of Education.
