Mahmoud is a lecturer in the Faculty of Education, Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. She obtained her PhD from Bayero University Kano, in 2005, and master’s and bachelor’s degrees from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. She was acting Head, of the Department of Psychology and Counselling in 2011 and section Head, of Educational Psychology in 2012.
