Henrietta Oboh has been a lecturer at the same organization since 2004 and is currently a professor of nutritional biochemistry in the School of Basic Medical Sciences, College of Medical Sciences, University of Benin.
She graduated with a doctorate in biochemistry from the University of Benin in 1998, and from 2016 to 2018 she served as the institution’s Dean of Basic Medical Sciences.
Her current research focuses on the nutritional benefits of beetroot in functional food applications in experimental rodents and humans.
