Njideka Okubadejo is a professor of neurology in the University of Lagos’ Faculty of Clinical Sciences. She earned a fellowship from the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria in internal medicine/neurology (2001).

She served as the faculty’s first Sub-Dean and currently serves as the board chair for the Medical Center.

Her most recent studies focus on the genetics and epidemiology of Parkinson disease and other movement disorders among Africans.
