Dr. Adeniyan obtained an MSc, Medical Leadership from Lancaster University between January 2019 and March 2022. She also studied at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration under the Young African Leaders initiative [Civil Leadership] in 2016.

Career & Expertise

Dentist and promoter of good dental health, Dr. Adekemi Adeniyan is a Senior Fellow at the Atlantic Institute, the Executive Director/Founder of the Dentalcare Foundation, and an Aspen New Voices Fellow. She is also a fellow of the Young African Leaders Initiative, RLC West Africa, and an associate fellow of the Royal Commonwealth Society.

She was chosen as an Associate Fellow of the Royal Commonwealth in 2014 for her leadership contributions to her neighborhood, and in 2016 she was chosen as one of the Fellows of the Obama Young African Leaders Initiative, RLC Accra.

Between January 2019 and November 2020, she served as the Atlantic Fellow for Health Equity at George Washington University, and from November 2016 to September 2017, she served as the organization’s assistant country director.
