Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and former Dean of Dentistry at Obafemi Awolowo University in Ile-Ife, Olawunmi Fatusi (2006-2008 and 2012-2016). She is a Fellow of the West African College of Surgeons and the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria.

Orofacial neoplasms and late hospital presentation are the subject of her current research.

Skills Utilisation

The prevalent dental issues of children examined in a tertiary hospital in Nigeria were the subject of one of the research Prof. Fatusi conducted. Her work has been published in peer-reviewed publications.
She can act as a role model for female medical students and a trustworthy resource for information on oral health and how to achieve it.
