Career & Expertise
She was a former member of the House of Representatives representing Yola North/Yola South/Girei federal constituency from 2011 to 2015 but in 2019; she contested and won the election to represent Adamawa Central in the Senate and is currently the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Sustainable Development Goals.
During the governorship primary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for Adamawa State in 2022, she was declared winner after polling 430 votes to defeat her closest contestant who got 288 votes.
